About the Company

Inter-Tech pipes and fittings has been manufacturing and supplying a complete range of 3 layer PPR pipes and fittings in the market since the year 2009 in Nepal. ITPF 3 layer PPR pipes and fittings are made up of food grade raw material imported from abroad and lasts for more than 50 years.

The company has a very robust infrastructure and state of the art technology in place that provides impetus to the quality of products. The technical expertise and in-house research team has enabled the company to come up with a new range of PPR products every year. Inter-tech pipes and fittings is the first company to explore and implement the use of 3 layer PPR pipes in various other areas like submersible pumps, industrial pipe-lines and water supply in hilly areas etc. The company also has an in-house well equipped laboratory and the pipes are stringently inspected to meet the international quality standards before being introduced in the market.

The company has been very eager to expand its product line right since its inception and has started manufacturing NS (Nepal Standard Certified) grade HDPE pipes, Lead Free PVC pipes and fittings, CPVC Pipe and Fittings, Conduct Pipe and ASTM Plumbing pipe.

Today, the company has an entire range of products to serve the sanitary market and purpose of water supply in households and otherwise.

Outer Most layer (UV Stabiliser Layer)

It is made from UV stabilizers, anti oxidant (LTHA) and food grade PPR material which protects the pipe from any changed in the environmental conditions (Light and Oxygen degradation, reactants, humidity, temperature, pressure etc.) and also protects it from the harmful ultra violet rays of the sun and keeps the property of pipe (Mechanical & Physical) fluid intact in all conditions thus making the pipe suitable for outside plumbing. The anti oxidant used in the outer layer also prevents weathering of color.

Middle layer (Pure PPR Layer)

This layer is pure PPR and Anti oxidant layer it is made up of food grade material and it further reinforces the strength of the pipe. This layer is thicker then the outer and the inner layer and thus it also prevents the material passing through the pipe from environmental changes. It also helps keeping the physical property of the material passing through the pipe intact.

Inner Most layer (Anti-Microbial Layer)

This layer is made up of anti microbial granules and is highly food grade. It prevents from any bacterial growth, algae formation and development of bad odor. This layer is food grade and covered with outer UV layer and middle layer so the fluid in the pipe remains pure, safe and the temperature also remains consistent.

Welding Procedure
  • Prepare the welding machine by fitting dies of required sizes on the machine, Plug the machine to power supply socket, a red light will blow at top of the machine, set the temperature nob at 2600C. After the machine get heated to the set temperature the green light will start to blow indicating the machine is ready for joining of pipe & fitting.
  • Cut the pipe at right angles to the pipe axis using suitable pipe cutter. (Fig. 1)
  • Mark the welding depth on the pipe using suitable marker. (Fig. 2)
  • Push the end of the pipe and fitting simultaneously without turning into the other side of the heating tool. (Fig. 3)
  • Leave the pipe and fitting into the heating tool until the heating time is elapsed.
  • At the end of the heating time, remove the pipe and fitting from the heating tool and push those immediately against each other, during this process do not rotate the pipe fitting. (Fig. 4)
  • Allow the joint to cool for the required time depending upon the size & pressure of pipe & fitting.

HDPE Pipes details:

ITPF HDPE PIPES are(NS) Nepal standard approved high quality HDPE PIPES. The pipes are made from fully food grade PE100 HDPE (High Density POLYETHYLENE) material and are being used for water supply in hilly as well as low lying areas. The pipes are manufactured as per the standards laid by Nepal Bureau of Standards and Metrology and are stringently inspected in the in-house laboratory designed as per NBSM Standard. The pipes are manufactured in various pressure grades ranging from 2.5kg to 10kg/cm2 and in various sized from 16mm to 110mm. In coming years we will be manufacturing HDPE PIPES till 225mm.

PVC Pipes details:

INTER TECH PIPES AND FITTING also manufactures full ranges of lead free PVC(Poly Vinyl Chloride) pipes and fittings. PVC being a sensitive material has to be handled very carefully. The manufacturing of PVC pipes and fittings requires compounding of various supporting raw-materials along with the PVC resin. The industry makes sure the compound of the material is done with high class raw-materials in the appropriate ratio so as to impart maximum strength and durability to the product. The PVC pipes and fittings are mainly used in sanitation line in households, industries and complexes. ITPF PVC PIPES AND FITTINGS are lead free. The raw material used is imported from Thailand and India.
